Zenatello, Giovanni - Signed Photograph in Role

Italian tenor (1876-1949), who enjoyed an international career as a dramatic tenor of the first rank, becoming a respected interpreter of Otello and Pinkerton -the latter a role he created in 1904.

Signed postcard photograph, shown in role (likely Dick Johnson in Puccini's Fanciulla del West), signed and inscribed on front with additional text on verso. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some small cracks at top and bottom of item not affecting any of the handwriting or image, otherwise in good condition.
