French mezzo-soprano Pauline Viardot (1821-1910), 1 autograph letter signed by her, 2 pages written on both sides of a 5.5 x 8.5 inch sheet, written in French sold untranslated, some ink stains and spots but in otherwise good condition, 

Also included: 1 autograph letter signed by her husband French theatre director, writer, art historian and translator Louis Viardot (1800-1883). Written on1 page of a 2 sided 8 x 10.25 inch sheet, written in French, sold untranslated, and composed on the stationary of the Theatre Royal Italien in Paris (a theatre he managed) dated in 1839. Small stains and bullet hole on various edges of the document but in otherwise good condition. Not sold separately.
