“…j’ose Ă©spĂ©rer toute votre indulgence pour la pauvre amĂ©ricaine qui essaie pour la première fois d’aborder la scène française (…) j’ai chantĂ© du jour au lendemain, sans rĂ©pĂ©tition aucune; vous le savez Monsieur, les AmĂ©ricains sont audacieux, et les amĂ©ricaines aussi…”.Â
