Pons, Lily - Photo, Letter and Program Collection

Star French-born soprano (1898-1976), active in opera and film in more than 5 decades. Large archive of mostly unsigned photographs of her in performances, with personalities, travelling, personal, etc. Several hundreds of photographs, mostly black and white, around half of the lot are 8 x 10 inches, the rest in smaller size. While many are stamped on verso by a photographer or photo studio, most are not stamped. 

Also included are several letters written to a fan, 2 albums fulls of newspaper clips and more photographs, and several programs of recital performances by Pons. See scans of the large pile of photos, some example scans, pictures of the 2 albums.
