Stahl, Ludwig - Set of 2 Autograph Cards 1892

German actor (1856-1908).

Set of two autograph cards by him and dated in Berlin, May 1892, and May 3, 1892. Stahl writes a quotation from the poem "Zitat zum Thema" by Goethe: “Seh ich die Werke der Meister an,/So seh ich das, was sie gethan,/ Betracht ich meine Siebensachen, Seh ich was ich hätt sollen machen” and signs it at the bottom. In the second document, Stahl cites verses from Goethe as well.

Both cards are glued to a piece of paper for a total size of 4.5 x 6.75 inches, overall rust tone, cards in excellent condition.
