The Story
Famous Italian singing teacher (1839-1910), son of the singing teacher Francisco Lamperti. He was the author of The Technics of Bel Canto (1905) and source for Vocal Wisdom: Maxims of Giovanni Battista Lamperti (1931).
Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1902. The photo is 4.25 x 5.75 inches mounted onto soft cardboard (the signature is on the bottom of the cardboard not on the photo), total item size is 8.5 x 9.5 inches. Some mounting traces on verso and small rips on far edges of the cardboard, otherwise in excellent condition.
