Set of two autograph notes signed by him, dated May 10 and September 14, 1893. In the first note, Toole sends an autograph to an enthusiast; in the second letter he states: “I first played “Caleb Plummer” at the Adelphi Theatre London about 27 years ago”.
Each note's size is 4.25 x 6.75 inches, one page each, folds, spotted rust stains, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an original envelope.
