Payne, John Howard - Signature Cut

American author (1791-1852), poet, and actor, best remembered for providing the lyrics for the song "Home! Sweet home!" (1822). 

Fine clip (probably the bottom of a longer autograph letter signed by him) with some autograph handwriting and his signature. Size is 7.8 x 2.5 inches, in excellent condition.
