Joachim, Amalie - Pair of 2 Autograph Letters Signed

Austrian-German mezzo-soprano (1839-1899), born as Amalie Marie Schneeweiss, celebrated both in the opera and concert repertoire, frequently performing with both Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms, and wife of the famous violinist Joseph Joachim.

Pair of 2 autograph letters signed, both 2 pages in length, one written in German, 5.5 x 8.75 inches, the other in French, dated in Paris in 1879 on a 5 x 8 inch document, both sold untranslated. In excellent condition, not sold separately.
