Dutch flutist (1807-1872) and professor at the Swedish Academy of Music.

Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated in Utrecht, May 1, 1855, where he addresses the flute manufacturer Godfroy, asking for an exchange of flutes: “…je vous voudrais bien demander d’avoir la bonté de me permettre de la renvoyer et d’avoir en échange pour elle le flûte avec 12 clarets que vous m’avez envoyé…”. 

Size is 5.4 x 8.4 inches, 1 written pages, folds and creases, overall age toning, dust and rust stains, in overall good condition.
