Hillary, Edmund - Signed Book "View from the Summit"

New Zealand mountaineer, explorer and philanthropist (1919-2008), together with Nepalese mountaineer Tenzing Norgay was the first climber confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. 

Signed book, part of the series of signed leather-bound editions by The Easton Press, 310 numbered pages, 6.25 x 9.5 inches, hardcovers, gilded edges, in excellent condition. Also included is a small certificate of authenticity signed by Edmund Hillary, dated Jan 21st, 2005, a witness and Roy S. Pfeil from Easton Press (not shown).
