Rare autograph music quote signed and dated by him in Springfield, Illinois, USA, in 1873, during his famous 1872-73 tour around the United States. Wieniawski writes 2 bars from one of his most famous works, the valse from his "Faust Fantasy" for violin and piano. Size is 5.25 x 2.8 inches, age toning and some mat burning on borders, light fading on ink but still very visible, in very good condition.
ALSO INCLUDED is a modern photo postcard with the image of the composer, 3.4 x 5.4 inches.
