Playbill announcing the performance of Halevy's opera "La Tempesta" at Her Majesty's Theater in London, August 3, 1850, starring the famous German soprano Henriette Sontag (1806-1854), and the Italian baritone Luigi Lablache (1794-1858), under the baton of Michael William Balfe. The performance includes a ballet featuring the Italian ballerina Carlotta Grisi (1819-1899), and the couple Marie and Paul Taglioni.

Size is 8.4 x 13.3 inches, some stains, folds, minor paper loss, in overall very good condition.
