De Saint-Georges, Henri - Set of 4 Autograph Letters Signed

French librettist (1799-1875).

Collection of four autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by him, one of them dated April 26, 1875. Letters are addressed to Monsieur Montigny, Monsieur Laforgue, and others, concerning theater lodges and private meetings with the Comte de Gouvy. One letter concern a correction in a text of one his work: "...j'y ai fait faire peu de changement, et au lieu de j'y ai fait fort peu de changements...".

Different sizes and lengths, in very good condition or better (see scans provided).
