Hayes, Roland - Lot of 2 Autograph Letters Signed + Photo + Promotional Playbill of Afrika Hayes

Lot of 4 items including 2 autograph letters signed of the American tenor Roland Hayes (1887-1977), one is a 2 page letter, dated in 1943, size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, neatly folded and in very good condition. The other letter is 1 page, written in Brookline, Massachusetts, dated in 1967, with clearer handwriting and signature, size is 7.25 x 10.5 inches, also in very good condition. 

Also included: a 5 x 6 inch unsigned photo of him in old age, clear image in excellent condition, and an unsigned publicity photo playbill and biography of his daughter, soprano Afrika Hayes, including excerpts from reviews of her concert recitals (including a joint recital with her father), this item is 7.25 x 11 inches, in very good condition. Not sold separately, only as a lot.
