Italian soprano (1811-1869), creator of the role of Adalgisa in Bellini's Norma, who also created roles in the world premiere performances of Bellini's I Puritani, as well as Donizetti's Don Pasquale and Marina Faliero.
Autograph letter signed, on the letterhead of the Villa Salviati in Florence. Two pages written on both sides of a 5 x 8 inches, in Italian, sold untranslated. Small tear on the left side of the front page and some pink rust at the very top, but in overall very good condition.
