Grand-Carteret, John - Signed Book "Wagner en Caricatures"

Great book with 130 caricatures in 336 pages, 6 x 8.3 inches, many of the caricatures satirizing Wagner and his music, and are entertaining. Published by Librairie Larousse, Paris, no year but most probably from the 1890s.

Soft cover book, bound into new, non-original hard covers with green cloth. Signed on first title page by author John Grand-Carteret, inscribed, also with an autograph note signed by author, attached to the first blank page, after the first title page.

Both author autographs (signature on first title page and attached autograph note signed) are addressed to Paul Eudel, French art critic, collector and merchant (1837-1911). A rare find!
