Star Italian composer (1858-1924) and Austrian contralto (1879-1948).
Set of two photos of the soprano shown as Zia Principessa in Puccini's Suor Angelica. One of them is large and the other, small. The larger is signed in black crayon by the Italian composer and inscribed to the singer in Vienna, 1920; and also is blind-stamped on front and signed in pencil by photographer Atelier Foka, Vienna, 1920. Photo is mounted on a mat for a total size of 8.5 x 11.6 inches, actual photo is 6.3 x 8.5 inches, minor silvering on the edges, creases in good condition.
The small one is a photo postcard signed by the Austrian contralto, size is 3.3 x 5.3 inches, in very good condition. Photos of Puccini on other singer's photos are very rare.
