The Story

Argentine conductor (1890-1983) who began his career in the late 1920s at Teatro La Scala, Milan.

His baton used for the world premiere of Constantino Gaito's operaĀ La Sangre de las Guitarras on August 17, 1932, at Teatro Colon, signed by him and inscribed to Vicente Retta (1893-1967) who was the author of the poem on which the opera was based on. Length is 18.2 inches, in excellent condition.
