Austrian ballerina (1810-1884) who introduced theatricalized folk dance into ballet; celebrated for her spirited, spectacular dancing and technique.

Autograph note in German signed by her, dated January 10, 1889 (original envelope and translation included). Size is 3.9 x 6.25 inches, folds, in excellent condition; the envelope is 4.5 x 1.9 inches.

ALSO INCLUDED is a color print of her shown in the Cracovian dance from "La Gypsy". Size is 7 x 9.25 inches, in excellent condition.
