Deems Taylor Signed Play is an original 1927 edition of The King's Henchman, a 3-act play by Edna St. Vincent Millay, signed by American composer and music critic Deems Taylor (1885–1966) as well as by Millay herself. The first blank page bears both inscriptions, accompanied by a small attached clip referencing the world premiere of Taylor’s opera based on this very play on February 3, 1928, at The Metropolitan Opera House, New York.
