Spanish bass (1874-1953) whose career developed mostly at the Metropolitan Opera between 1901 and 1920.

Signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed and dated in 1949. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small cracks on bottom left and right corners outside of the image and textual area and some mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
