Belasco, David - Large Photograph Signed 1916

 American theater producer, impresario, director, and playwright (1853-1931), the first to adapt the short story of Madama Butterfly for the stage, among many other achievements in his career.

Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated 1916, shown in an interview with journalist Wendell Phillips Dodge (1883-1976).  Size is 13.6 x 9.75 inches, minor creases, mounting traces on verso, in very good condition.
