Bulgarian bass (1914-1993), one of the greatest of the 20th century, known for both Russian, French and Italian repertoire. 

Signed photograph, shown as Kociubey in Tchaikovsky's Mazeppa, inscribed and dated in 1961. Additional inscription and signature on verso. Stamped on verso by photographer Levi, Florence. Size is 6.25 x 9.25 inches, in very good condition.
