Gounod, Charles - Signed Cabinet Photograph

French composer (1818-1893), who achieved an international reputation for his operas "Faust" and "Romeo et Juliette". 

Sepia cabinet photograph of Gounod by photographer Charles (Bordeaux) signed by the composer, mounted on soft white paper.  Size is 5.2 x 8.6 inches, gilded edges, minor crack over the upper-left corner, otherwise in excellent condition.
