Casella, Alfredo - Large Photograph Signed 1931 with Music Quote

Italian composer (1883-1947) and also pianist, conductor, and writer. 

Large mat signed at the bottom by the composer with an original photo by photographer Alban (who signed in pencil below).  Casella inscribed and signed on the mat, with a short sentiment, dated in Paris, 1931 and added 4 bars of music from an unknown piece.  Total size is 9.1 x 12. 6 inches (actual photo is 6.6 x 9 inches), jagged edges, in excellent condition.
