Beautiful cabinet photograph of the super star Italian tenor (1873-1921), acclaimed at the major opera houses of Europe and America, for his interpretations in a wide variety of roles from the Italian and French repertoires. Additionally, he made approximately 260 commercially released recordings from 1902 to 1920.
Signed cabinet photograph, shown as himself, inscribed, dated in 1909. Bold handwriting and signature. Gold embossing on front of photographer Rockwood, New York. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, small mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.
