Caruso, Enrico - 1919 Metropolitan Opera Gala Program celebrating 25th Anniversary of his operatic debut

Unsigned program from a special gala presented by the Metropolitan Opera, New York on March 22, 1919, celebrating the upcoming twenty-fifth anniversary of Caruso's career (he made his professional stage debut at the Teatro Nuovo in Naples in 1895 in the opera, L'Amico Francesco by the amateur composer Mario Morelli).

Program is complete, with all pages and covers and includes several large photos of Caruso as himself and in role (see scans). Program is large format: 9 x 12 inches, in very good quality paper. Front and back covers are loose and there are some small stains on the front and back covers, otherwise in very good condition.
