Bernstein, Leonard - Signed Book "Leonard Berstein, The Man, his Work and his World"

Star American composer and conductor (1918-1990). Bernstein was the first conductor born and educated in the US to receive world-wide acclaim, and is known for conducting the NY Philharmonic Orchestra for years and some of his compositions.

Biographical book by John Briggs, signed by Leonard Bernstein on the frontend page, first edition by The World Publishing Company, 1961. Hardcovers, dust jacket, 273 numbered pages, includes a central section with many black and white photographs. Size is 5.75 x 8.5 inches, small sticker with name of previous owner on the back of the title page. Dust jacket has a small crack and shows minimal signs of wear, book is in excellent condition.
