Artot de Padilla, Lola - Autograph Note Signed 1917

French-Spanish soprano (1876-1933), one of the most important sopranos in Germany during the early years of the 20th century.

She developed her career singing mostly in Germany, and created the role of Octavian in the world premiere of Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier in 1911, among other roles. Autograph note signed, dated in 1917. Written in German on both sides of a 4 x 6 card, in excellent condition.
