English composer and conductor (1891-1975), whose production includes a variety of genres, including orchestral (he has a well-known cello concerto), film music, and ballet.

Beautiful photograph mounted on a mat signed by the composer, dated July 1938,  and also signed by the photographer [illegible] from Elliott & Fry Studio over the lower-right corner.  Size is 8.6 x 11.6 inches (total size), the photo is 5.75 x 6.1 inches, some silvering on the photograph, some creases on the mat, in overall very good condition.
