Autograph letter signed by him, dated November 29, 1871, about his famous opera "The Demon"; written in German (sold with transcription and translation). 1 sheet folded at the center, each page is 5.1 inches wide (total width is 10.2 inches), open height is 7.6 inches, pencil markings by another hand, in very good condition.
ALSO INCLUDED is a small CDV (Carte-de-Visite) of the young conductor, by Fritz Luckhardt, Vienna (blind-stamped on the front by the photographer), size is 2.5 x 4 inches. An envelope hand-written by the conductor is included as well, its size is 5.8 x 3.25 inches, in very good condition.
