Rare autograph letter signed, discussing about a photograph, to Ivan Vasilyevich, probably last named Tsinger, the son of the math professor V. Y. Tsinger, who was a follower of Tolstoy´s teachings and worked as a stagehand at the Moscow Art Theater. The name Tsinger is mentioned in the letter of Knipper-Chekhov to Anton Pavlowich. There is one letter from I.V. Tsinger to Chekhov in existence, but this is probably the only one from Chekhov to him.
One page, 3.9 x 6.6 inches, see scans of front and verso. In Russian, no year but postal stamp seems to indicate the year 1900, in very good condition.
